Bio

Prof. Dr. Michael Huber is a Senior Manager at Daimler AG, heading a department for Corporate Audit IT & Data Analytics, and adjunct Professor in Computer Science/Discrete Mathematics at Tübingen University. He held management positions in the area of Business Intelligence at Mercedes-Benz Bank AG and Daimler Financial Services AG from 2012-2016. He was a Heisenberg Fellow of the German Research Foundation (DFG) from 2008-2012 and a visiting full Professor in Mathematics at Berlin Technical University from 2007-2008. He obtained the Diploma, Ph.D. and Habilitation degrees in Mathematics from Tübingen University in 1999, 2001 and 2006, respectively. He was awarded, inter alia, the 2008 Heinz Maier Leibnitz Prize by the DFG and the German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the highest honor awarded in German research for young scientists under age 35 across all disciplines.
